Voice typing, also known as speech-to-text, allows users to input text by speaking rather than manually typing. It's a convenient feature available on various platforms. Here's a concise overview and our recommendation for each operating system:

Android: Google Gboard

Description:

Gboard's Voice Typing feature lets Android users dictate messages, emails, and more.

How to Start Voice Typing:

Open any app where you can type (e.g., Gmail or Keep).
Tap an area to enter text.
Touch and hold the Microphone icon on your keyboard.

Supported Languages:

Available for various languages.

Commands:

Simply speak what you want written.

iOS/macOS: Dictation

Description:

Dictation is built into Apple devices, allowing users to transcribe spoken words into text.

How to Start Voice Typing:

On iOS: Open any app with a text field, tap it, and then tap the microphone icon on the keyboard.
On macOS: Press Fn (Function) twice or customize a shortcut.

Supported Languages:

Multilingual support.

Commands:

Pause or stop dictation: Use voice commands like "Stop dictating."
Delete last spoken word or phrase: Say "Delete this."

Interface

ChatGPT (created by OpenAI, an AI research company) is a "natural language" processing tool driven by AI technology that allows human-like interaction. In this context, the models can answer questions about, and using, our custom dataset (historical stock quotes and resultant financial indicators).

ChatGPT is one of several AI products by OpenAI. Even with constant fine‑tuning, language models are not flawless: ChatGPT can provide false information when answering questions and is not a replacement for verified sources of information.

History

This section is composed of previous Q&A pairs (see Chat Mode).

Question
This field represents past questions.
Answer
These fields represents past answers which may include:
- An answer directly from ChatGPT.
- Data from Zoonova.
- A list of related web links.
- A summary of the web links.
- Follow-up questions based on the sumary.
This button allows the user to remove a Q&A pair (see Chat Mode) in order to fine-tune future responses.

Question

This section configures questions to be submitted to ChatGPT/Zoonova. The number of questions allowed in a 12–hr period depends on a user's status (Anonymous, Basic, Platinum).

GPT

This determines "temperature" (t=[0, ..., 1]) or the variability of interpretation by ChatGPT:

This button induces more creative responses (t=1.2).
This button induces more balanced responses (t=0.7).
This button induces more precise responses (t=0.2).

Reference

This section acts as a reference tool for generating queries against Zoonova data.

Stocks This list shows stocks covered by Zoonova AI/ML.
Fields This list shows data fields generated by Zoonova AI/ML and available for query.
Samples This list provides various pre-defined example queries; each can be modified to suit the user's needs.

(Button Bar)

This button submits the contents of the text field as a new question to ChatGPT.
This button clears all chat contents.
This button opens a formatted report of the Q&A history for printing or download.
NOTE: To clear the current question, double-click/tap the field.
